Dr. Seung Hee Lee

Seung Hee Lee co-founded Solid Technologies Inc. (now SOLiD Inc.) in November 1998, and currently serves as Vice Chairman and co-CEO. During the early stages of SOLiD, Dr. Lee led the company’s technology development as CTO and provided executive leadership and guidance as COO. Under his direction, SOLiD has grown to be a leading provider of wireless coverage solutions for communication networks including CDMA, WCDMA, WiBro (mobile WiMax) and satellite digital multimedia broadcasting networks. Prior to SOLiD, Dr. Lee was a senior member of the technical staff at SAIT (Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology), leading research on digital communication technologies. In 1998, he was appointed as a technology consultant for the future strategy team at Samsung and was a visiting scholar at Stanford University. Dr. Lee holds a B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering from Korea University and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University.
